You can reach Lime Cay by boat (which you can hire at Morgan's Harbor Marina in Port Royal for a small fee). This island, just beyond Kingston Harbor, is perfect for picnicking, sunning, and swimming.
Lyssons Beach, in Morant Bay, sometimes lures Kingstonians 32 mi (52 km) east of the city to its lovely golden sand.
